Our Process
At DawgHouse, we take a strategic approach to athletic development. Our process focuses on building explosive strength, preventing injuries, and preparing mentally for the game.

Resistance Classes
Resistance Training is our specialty. Our classes are held 3 times a night, 4 days a week (M,T,TH,F). Using Resistance bands combined with proprietary equipment, we train fast-twitch muscle fibers to become more explosive. These fast twitch muscle fibers are what we use when we want to change direction quickly, jump, run etc. Resistance training is a critical part of all top athletes training schedules and it is our goal to make it more accessible for our Student-Athletes.
Injury Prevention Classes
Similar to our Resistance Training classes, these are held 3 times a night every Wednesday. These classes will still be largely driven by resistance bands, but there will also be lots of other training forms included. This gives our bodies a chance to heal and makes our smaller stabilizing muscles stronger to help prevent injury. We put a heavy emphasis on the Knee, Ankle and Neck during these sessions.

Please note: No class can completely prevent injury. Our goal is to make injuries less likely by building those smaller muscles and becoming an all-around athlete.

Seminars/Film
The most neglected muscle in sports is the brain. Being mentally prepared before stepping onto the field is important to winning games AND injury prevention.

Once a month (minimum) we host a Seminar or a Film session. Some seminar topics could include: Teaching more about a specific coverage, How to speak to a scout, How to get more views on a professional Social Media etc.
Social Media Training
We have a program built around utilizing Social Media as a tool. Our goal with this program is to teach an athlete how to connect with local athletes/scouts to build a professional community before they ever go to college. Maintaining these relationships could have a huge payoff later (Especially in today's world of athletes getting paid and the transfer portal).

From time to time we also assist our athletes in getting quality media to post on their professional Social Media account. This is not on a "set schedule" but rather a bonus for athletes working extra hard.
